Wall Street Journal article details new plans to address foreclosure crisis

Every week I meet scores of students in my One-Day Real Estate Exam Prep Course. During class, I review all the information currently tested on the California real estate salesperson and broker exams. During the formal class time, we are a focused group, and this focus is what helps my students to then pass their salesperson and broker exams on their first try.

But, it’s before and after class when talk turns to current events, and many students want to talk about the great foreclosure crisis currently challenging our national economy. I highly recommend you read the Wall Street Journal story, Plans to Aid Borrowers Gain Steam, which describes efforts being made by FDIC Chairman Sheila Blair (pictured below), the FHA, and the Treasury Department to give banks financial incentives to transform many of the troubled real estate loans into better, more affordable mortgages.
