Real Estate Licensing Laws and Regulations
The California Department of Real Estate requirements for new real estate agents are changing on October 1, 2007. Starting in October, anyone wanting to get a real estate salesperson license will need to complete three courses before becoming eligible to take the real estate salesperson licensing exam. This is a big change from the current regulations which require only that you be enrolled in one course (Real Estate Principles) before taking the state exam.
What does this mean to you? It means that if you live in California and have been thinking about getting a real estate license, now is the time to do it. Take advantage of the fact that you’ve still got time to get a license without a lot of coursework. New Exam Prep Course Book
The 18th edition of the Real Estate Centre’s Exam Prep course book is now available. Students enrolled in the course who have a 17th edition book will receive an updated book when they attend class. As with prior editions, weekly updates to the new edition are distributed in class, and are available at http://www.realestatecentre.biz/update.htm every Tuesday. Remember, your enrollment in the course is good for one year, so be sure to attend class within that time period. If you want to pass your California real estate licensing exam – the first time – this is the class for you.
